Born and raised in Bloomington, Illinois, Jared Wulbrun has returned home to positively impact his community through his deep background in collegiate playing and coaching.
Jared played basketball at Purdue University as a preferred walk-on. Through relentless work and dedication, he earned a full scholarship from Head Coach Matt Painter by his senior season (2021-22). During his time at Purdue, Jared became a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and was part of multiple Big Ten Regular Season Championship Teams.
After his playing career, Jared joined the Purdue coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach (2022-24). Jared played a key role in the development of elite players, including National Player of the Year Zach Edey, All-Americans Braden Smith, Trey Kaufman-Renn, and All-Big Ten guard Fletcher Loyer.
Following his time at Purdue, Jared joined the University of Illinois Chicago as the Director of Basketball Operations for the 2024-25 season, while also serving as Video Coordinator for the Flames.
